In the World

One of the benefits of being a part of the United Methodist Church is that we can leverage the connections established by the Church around the world. Baylake UMC is passionate about spreading the good news of Jesus Christ to people living in other countries while helping to improve the quality of life of those who live in impoverished nations.

Operation Christmas Child

What if a Shoebox was the first step toward following Christ? A small shoebox can have a big impact!  What goes into the box is fun, but what comes out of it is eternal.  A small box can teach children about the love of God, lead him or her to faith in Jesus Christ, inspire Pastors and plant new churches! Be a part of changing children’s lives all over the world in Jesus’ Name through the power of a simple gift with Operation Christmas Child.

Goal: 125

South Sudan

Over several decades, our church has been supporting the sick and poor living in South Sudan. From providing financial resources for building schools where kids have an opportunity to become educated, structures and medications for hospitals, bicycles for pastors, wells for clean water, and much more, we have impacted the lives of many people.
