Baylake United Methodist Church

Judeo Christian Outreach Center

Helping the Judeo Christian Outreach Center is one of Baylake UMC’s new mission projects. The center works to break the cycle of homelessness in Virginia Beach. Their mission statement is: “To empower homeless families and individuals to recover from crisis situations and return to being self-supporting, proactive, and independent members of our community.”  Two of their main ministries include feeding and housing programs.

Our church family will be assisting on four specific dates to furnish a meal and volunteers to prepare and serve on the following dates. If you would like to help, contact the coordinator for the date you would like to assist.

Friday, February 10th – Dinner (sponsored by Diving Deeper Sunday School Class) and coordinated by Kim McConnaughey. We have been blessed with a full team and the provision for dinner. Thank you all!
