the 2014 Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church, Bishop Cho
challenged all congregations to support the Imagine No Malaria Mission Project.
The goal for the Virginia Conference is to save 100,000 lives of those living
in Africa. By providing nets to protect children from misquotes, we hope to
prevent the spread of the disease in those areas vulnerable to the disease. At Baylake UMC, we are committed to supporting this cause and are actively raising funds for nets and to promote awareness of the disease. While we often think of this disease impact those outside of the U.S., our Senior Pastor recently shared with us that his own father struggled with the disease and the ongoing affects that lasted a life time even though he was cured from the disease. Help us reach our goal of saving 100,000 lives by donating today!
